The United States is referrred to as a melting pot for good reason. Our citizenry is made up of immigrants and first-generation Americans, of people who chose to come here freely and those who had no choice. In the Smithsonian Institution's traveling exhibit Journey Stories, the American identity is examined through the stories of our ancestors. Daily 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Source Family

Father Yod was a health-food restaurateur, a rock star, and the spiritual leader of the Source Family, a radical '70s utopian commune. The Source Family documentary explores the group from its beginning to its dramatic demise through archival photos, home movies, and interviews. Tue-Thu 4:50 p.m., 7:20 p.m., 9:35 p.m.

Folk Dancing on the Plaza
