Enjoy single-malt scotch, cigars, and high-end vehicles while supporting suicide-prevention for working-age men. Fifty-seven percent of suicide deaths in Colorado occur among men between 25 and 64 years old, and the Carson J. Spencer Foundation’s Man Therapy campaign hopes to lower that figure. Art is timeless, and some of the oldest pieces known to man can influence modern artists. This 90-minute film explores the connection between ancient art and abstract expressionists. Bonus: Professor Melinda Barlow from the University of Colorado Boulder will discuss the relationships among photography, painting, film, and animation. Thu 7-10 p.m.

From folk and flamenco to ballet and contemporary, diverse dance styles share the stage during this festival. Five Denver-based dance companies (like 7dancers and Wonderbound) will showcase their varying aesthetics, then join together for a collaborative finale. Watch for exhilarating numbers such as “Dancing to Singing,” a playful dance set to ‘60s rock songs. Thu 7:30 p.m.
