Bring your backyard skills to Cherry Creek for this single-elimination croquet competition. Teams vie for the silver cup—and nods for best dressed, best hat, and best wicked shot. It's sure to be a fun day outside even for spectators; their tickets include two drink tickets and a goody bag. Also enjoy tastes from neighboring restaurants. Fri 2-9 p.m.

Aristophanes' ancient Greek comedy about the women of Athens withholding sex to end a war gets a 21st century update. This musical version trades warriors for high school basketball players and casts the women as cheerleaders. To prompt their jock boyfriends to finally win a game, the girls play hard to get. Will it work? Making its regional premiere, this production promises an upbeat pop score and plenty of sideline flips and tricks. Fri-Sat 7:30 p.m.; Sun 2:30 p.m.
