Arise Music Festival

Arise Music Festival is making its debut. Set on the 68-year old organic Sunrise Ranch Retreat in Loveland, Arise will bring festivalgoers together for music, art, yoga, meditation, and even interactive human sculpture displays. Wed-Sun, times vary.

Poetic, rhapsodic, and hypnotic this alt-rock band builds a house of melody on a solid rock foundation. The Northern Colorado troupe released its latest album, the Maestro and the Elephant,  last winter and was voted best band in Fort Collins by CSU students. Wed 5 p.m. 

Reallocate: Works by Charles Counter

When Charles Counter creates art, he asks himself, "What is synthetic? What is real?" By altering tree branches and changing their colors, he makes sculptures. The CU History Museum exhibition designer will display his work until November, and on August 14, he will lead an artist talk at the Gardens. Daily 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
