British detective stories have a few things in common: wild goose chase adventures, unthinkable mishaps, and innumerous missed clues. In this parody of a 1930s sleuth movie, a pre-WWII scheme to destroy the world's diamond market with a kidnapping is muddled when a World War I flying ace/part-time sleuth/Olympic athlete/racing driver gets involved. The play kicks off OpenStage Theatre's 40th anniversary season. Fri-Sun, times vary.
