Nostalgia for the past is part of the human condition, but seldom does the past hold fewer challenges than the present. When a couple yearning for a simpler time moves into a gated community perpetually (and purposefully) stuck in 1955, they encounter some of the era's most notable adversities, like racial bigotry, sexism, and homophobia. This production examines the notions of modernity and progress verses the consequences of a stagnant worldview.
