Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

WASP takes a new form in George and Martha. This upper-class couple invite a new professor and his young wife over for dinner. Throughout the evening, George and Martha reveal the tempestuous truth under their shiny veneer, verbally and physically abusing each other while the younger couple suffer silently on. Much like Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway, this play confronts the dysfunction of wealthy socialites whose power and money does little to buy them peace, freedom, or a foundation in reality. Thu-Sat, 7:30 p.m.
