A native of rural Jamaica, this socially conscious artist upholds his home county’s famed legacy of reggae and dancehall music while adding in touches of modern hip-hop. His lyrics—often revolving around politics, social issues, and spirituality—have been heard on hundreds of singles and more than a dozen albums, from his 1996 debut Real Revolutionary to 2011's Rasta Love.
