Women in Combat: A Conversation with Female Soldiers

Approximately one of every five U.S. soldiers is female, war often gets painted in a masculine hue. But with the recent news of the U.S. government lifting a ban on females serving in combat positions, our women soldiers are in the forefront of the nation's consciousness. Colorado College will host a select panel of these women, who will share war stories and discuss the Warriors Transition Batallion, which supports military men and women who are recovering from the physical and psychological effects left over by warfare. Wed 6:30-8 p.m.
