Colorado Ballet Presents from the Page to the Stage

Many young girls consider a tutu to be a staple in their wardrobes as they attempt to emulate the ballerinas they aspire to be. Don't miss an opportunity to see the pros don tutus and strut their stuff with this child-friendly performance as Colorado Ballet dancers gracefully enact excerpts of fairytale classics such as Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella to the ever-popular Nutcracker. Children can begin to appreciate the fundamentals of the technical movements, including how narratives are translated to dance, and the functionality of pointe shoes and tutus. Following the performance, children can participate in an interactive dance exercise. Sun. 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
