Boulder International Film Festival
The best of independent filmmaking decend on Boulder for what MovieMaker once named one of the "25 Coolest Film Festivals." The schedule of films has yet to be released, but by the standards set last year, there won't be any lineup dissapointment. In 2012, the BIFF screened five Academy Award nominated films: Monsieur Lazhar, Incident in New Baghdad, Pentecost, Raju, and Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore. The 2013 films—which can range from feature films to animated shorts—will be accompanied by panels, symposiums, special guest appearances, and VIP events.
