A Place at the Table

Tags: undefined

Despite the fact that America is one of the world's richest nations, 50 million people (in other words: one in four kids) in the United States suffer from hunger. A Place at the Table offers a look into the lives of three people who live from one meal to the next. The documentary hits close to home: One of the main story lines is about Rosie (pictured), a Colorado fifth grader who, because of food insecurity, has trouble focusing in school and often has to rely neighbors and friends to eat. Days, times vary.
