Many of us have made a pit stop in Black Hawk to try and earn some extra cash on our way to the mountains. If you're looking for an excuse to make the side trip, we've got one: For the first time ever, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will make a circuit stop in Colorado. The Lodge Casino is hosting 12 official ring events, with buy-ins starting at $365. The main affair on March 22 requires a $1,675 buy-in (!) so expect to see some of the big names in competitive gambling. (ESPN will televise the final table on March 25.) Players can earn points, cash, and a chance to compete for a WSOP bracelet and more than $1 million in prize money at the national championships in New Orleans in May. Days, times vary.
