To many, the ukulele is a silly instrument, the gimmick of novelty acts rather than a tool for serious musicians. Not in the hands of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. One minute, the group of well-dressed, virtuosic Brits are playing intricate, sophisticated classical tunes; the next, they're plucking a Nirvana cover or the theme song from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
