Building Bridges 2013 Gala

Weave your way through vibrant rows of an authentic Guatemalan market, taste Latin cuisine, and move to live marimba performed by local musician Jim Theobold. The market’s crafts are the plume of the room: colorful and hand-woven textiles, shoulder bags, and scarves—some of which have undergone an all natural die process—beaded jewelry, and bushels of flowers. Proceeds benefit Friendship Bridge, a nonprofit that provides micro-loans and education to rural Guatemalan women, enabling them to become active investors and business leaders in their communities. Thu 6-9 p.m.

Date: Apr 11, 2013 6:00 pm - Apr 11, 2013 9:00 pm
Cost: Tickets start at $75.
Venue: Mile High Station
