Stephen Alarid/UCD Sculpture Club
The art world is ever changing, and this show is proof to that credo. Veteran Denver painter Stephen Alarid, along with sculptists from the University of Colorado Denver Sculpture Club will be shown, which will be the students’ first time exhibiting their work in a gallery setting. Alarid uses a chaotic method of dots and smears in his paintings to reflect an ambiguous subject matter, contrasting with the constructed lines of the students’ sculptures. Fri 6-10 p.m.; Sat-Sun noon-5 p.m.
