A Children's Rainforest Odyssey
Demystify the tangled undergrowth of the rainforest. Millions of trees, flowers, and organisms create this fascinating labyrinthine that returns oxygen to the earth. However, the soil itself is not very fertile—the plants hold most of the nutrients: watch dancers embody the life of the rainforest in this 45-minute odyssey. Choreographed by David Taylor, this educational performance blends dance and narration to engage young ones and sheds light on the layers of the rainforest. Wed 7 p.m.
