Relive the astounding story of artist and photographer Mark Hogencamp, who was put into a nine day coma after being beaten nearly to death by five men outside of a bar. Upon waking up Hogencamp decided to begin his own regime of physical and psychiatric therapy by building a miniature replica of a town in his backyard. Soon photographs of his growing fantasy world were discovered by galleries and magazines. And the rest is art history. The 2010 documentary has won a slew of awards, including a few Independent Spirit Awards as well as the Boston Film Society's "Documentary of the Year". Tue 7 p.m.Date: Apr 23, 2013 6:00 pm
