Digging in the Dirt
Who doesn’t like to get a little bit dirty every once in awhile? Bring your kids to learn about artifacts and fossils dug up from the ground by paleontologists and archaeologists. Youngsters will handle real fossils and search the soil for living creatures. They’ll also learn about how some animals dig in the ground to find food and make their home, and how plants send their roots into the soil. Sat 10 a.m.-4 p.m.Date: May 4, 2013 9:00 am - May 4, 2013 3:00 pm
