Sting is a music legend with 16 Grammy Awards (both for his solo work and with the Police), a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and even the exalted designation of Commander of the British Empire, given by Queen Elizabeth II herself. But to commemorate a quarter-century of solo success, he’s stripping his pop-rock sound down to the essentials. On the Back to Bass tour, Sting revisits his familiar hits with just a five-member backup band for support. Wed 8 p.m.
