Much Ado About Nothing
William Shakespeare wrote Much Ado About Nothing more than 400 years ago, but the dramatic comedy's themes—love, deception, mistaken identity—are as relevant as ever. Director Joss Whedon, who has had a heavy hand in the making of pop-culture blockbusters such as the Avengers and Toy Story, might seem an unlikely director for this movie remake. But his decidedly contemporary touch (Whedon shot the flick in his California mansion) affords the screenplay a fresh and modern twist worth seeing. (Watch the trailer.) Days, times vary.
