South Platte RiverFest
This is a party worth cleaning up for. The South Platte River, Denver's urban waterway, is hosting the entire community for a weekend of paddle boarding, live music, kids activities, and conservation efforts. Curious about people paddling atop Colorado's lakes and rivers on giant surf boards? If so, register for a free paddle boarding lesson to experience one of the states fastest growing board sports. Then, sit back and watch the professionals put on a clinic in Confluence Park's rapid course. The two-day VIP experience—including food and beverages—are available for $250. The weekend benefits the Greenway Foundation to enhance and conserve the South Platte River. Sat 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sun noon-8 p.m.Date: Jun 22, 2013 9:00 am - Jun 23, 2013 7:00 pm
