There's an artistic side to the National Western Stock Show. More than 60 local and international artists highlight the Western spirit at this exhibit featuring contemporary works ranging from oil to photography to clay. Daily 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

National Western Stock Show and Rodeo

If there’s one thing the West knows how to do right, it’s a rodeo. Throughout January, the 108-year-old stock show offers events for everyone—horse shows, bull-riding competitions, Mexican rodeos, art exhibits, and tradeshows including jewelry and agricultural products. Daily, times vary. 


Make Wine

Have you ever wondered if it's possible to make your own vino? The connoisseurs at Wine & Whey will show you the process for crafting your own red, white, and sparkling blends. Once fermentation is complete 45 days later, students will be invited back to bottle, label, and take home their creations. Sat 4-6 p.m. 

Sweet, Sweet Life: The Photographic Works of John Denver

Most Coloradans remember the late John Denver as the folk musician who captured the essence of the Centennial State through songs such as “Rocky Mountain High” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” Check out another one of his artistic endeavors at an exhibit displaying 40 photographs taken by Denver that capture nature’s beauty throughout the musician’s lifetime. Symphony at the Movies: Singin' in the Rain
