Edward Albee’s 1967 Pulitzer Prize–winning drama went on to snag a Tony Award in 1996 for its Broadway revival. In the play, which comes to Lakewood this month, a middle-aged couple whose life is disrupted when longtime friends show up to stay with them, claiming a nameless fear has forced them out of their home. The production reveals how the lies we tell about ourselves put live in a tenuous balance.
