Race participants will climb 3,266 feet–more than 2.5 miles–up Aspen Mountain’s snowy terrain, guided only by the light of headlamps. Don’t fret too much about the cold conditions though, as you’ll be welcomed at the summit with a post-race banquet complete with a lasagna dinner from the Little Nell, live music from the soulful John Truscelli Band, and an award ceremony honoring the top three finishers and fundraisers (past prizes include free ski poles!). Proceeds benefit the Chris Klug Foundation, which raises awareness and advocates for organ and tissue donation. Sat 5 p.m.
