Spectators at this fresh performance will enjoy two distinct but equally fascinating pieces when MFA candidates Rachel Dodson and Colt Irvin team up for an evening of contemporary dance and, refreshingly, skateboarding. Dodson’s opening act explores the many levels of human existence—physical, emotional, and spiritual—through fluid, writhing movement; performers, donning headlamps, will alternate between exposing and hiding parts of their bodies. Irvin continues this exploration of reality versus appearance in part two, a work that interweaves skateboarding acrobatics and modern dance, with, perhaps most surprisingly, food. Fri-Sat 7:30 p.m.; Sun 2 p.m.
