Colorado Endangered Species Week

Scientists around the world say that Earth is on the verge of a new mass extinction—and that we habitat-destroying humans are to blame. To ease a bit of that guilt (and help turn things around), join local conservationists for a week of activities dedicated to saving endangered Colorado critters such as the gray wolf and the Gunnison sage-grouse. Start with a kick-off party featuring environmental trivia and Spangalang Brewery suds, create lynx-inspired artwork at a sip-and-paint night, and then attend a celebration of Colorado Public Lands Day—complete with film screenings and a talk from Congressman Ed Perlmutter—to close out the week.
