There’s no better opportunity to introduce your kids to Día de los Muertos than at the state’s largest celebration dedicated to the Mexican holiday. Enjoy live music by folk groups such as Coro San Juan and Mariachi Vásquez and let the kids sample traditional Mexican snacks like pan de muerto and Mexican hot chocolate. Then teach them how to honor the memories of their loved ones by decorating sugar skulls as well as paper flowers and placing them on colorful community altars. Sat 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
