Sara Watkins

Submitted by Sarah Soenke on Thu, 10/06/2016 - 4:47pm

You may know her from the progressive bluegrass group Nickel Creek or indie folk band the Decembrists, but this singer-songwriter and fiddler has her own body of work to share. Following her June release of Young In All the Wrong Ways, she will be performing tracks that progress from wistful guitar pickings to pop-rock tantrums backed by a full string band. Her blend of bluegrass, folk, pop, and country has shaped a sound all her own. Sun 8 p.m.
