Her Paris
While male Impressionists such as Claude Monet and Edgar Degas are some of the most well-known artists to date, their female counterparts were largely ignored and forgotten by history. This groundbreaking exhibition is one of the first to exclusively showcase work by women artists of the Impressionist period (the late 1800s), including painters Berthe Morisot and Marie Bashkirtseff, who strived to do what they loved despite the social stigma of the time.
