Picture this: In the 1840s, a trading post on the Santa Fe Trail bustles with fur trappers and blacksmiths, brickmakers and Plains Indians, and…you. During this immersive history lesson, you’ll meet 50 re-enactors showcasing the day-to-day activities that took place at Old Bent’s Fort more than 150 years ago. While there, visitors can learn more about everyday tasks, such as skinning an animal hide or starting a fire.
