Mountain Standard Clay


This biennial clay arts exhibit celebrates many iterations of a 27,000-year-old tradition of working with clay. You may remember the show as Colorado Clay; the name was changed this year to be inclusive of artists from around the region. The The 39 masterpieces-made-from-mud, created by by 23 different artists, will be on display for about a month; stop by the exhibit April 17 to catch a lecture by one of the show’s jurors, Peter Held, on the past and future of ceramic arts (there’s an additional $5 fee for non-members). Tue-Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun noon-5 p.m.
