Sand Storm: Stories from the Front

These first-hand accounts of the war in Iraq, related in ten chilling monologues, expose the rage, honor, courage, commitment, doubt, fear, and remorse experienced by the men who bear the burden of decisions made by politicians. The performance is based on the war as experienced by the playwright, a U.S. Marine with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. It is dedicated to all the troops who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, especially those who could not return, and also to the Iraqi civilians who lost their lives in a war in which they did not choose to participate.
