Telluride is already home to a world-famous film festival, and with this three-year-old fete, the mountain town is staking the same claim for the small screen. More than 50 pilots, episodes, and digital shorts from the world of serialized entertainment will be screened throughout the festival’s six days. The schedule features everything from new indie shows to innovative international works. The best lineup of the fest, though, may be opening night: In addition to the debut of CNN’s pop-culture docuseries The Nineties, the kickoff party features a concert from Lauryn Hill, Common, and En Vogue.
