Suddenly Last Summer

Submitted by Meg McIntyre on Thu, 06/16/2016 - 11:19am

This suspenseful one-act play, written by Tennessee Williams, tells the story of a young woman who is seemingly driven insane by the mysterious death of her cousin. Her cousin’s mother, in an attempt to hide the perverse circumstances of her son's death, has her institutionalized and threatens to do whatever necessary to prevent her from telling the story of his gruesome end—but the truth must always come out. Shocking, dark, and poetic, this play examines humanity's potential for cruelty. Fri-Sun, times vary.
