Pueblo, a historic town due south of Colorado Springs, and its natural surroundings have inspired many an artist over the last century and a half. This spring, the work of 40 Pueblo artists will be showcased in the Colorado State Capitol Rotunda, the Lieutenant Governor’s office, and the Joint Budget Committee Room. Artists featured include Michael McCormick, known for his bright paintings of farm animals, and 2-D steel scultpor Lionel Trujillo. Historical tours of the building are available Monday thourgh Friday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
