This dramatic, thought-provoking show deals with questions of faith, mortality, and the meaning of life. Based on the 1957 film of the same name directed by Ingmar Bergman, this production tells the story of Antonius, a knight who returns from the Crusades only to find himself in the midst of the Black Plague. To avoid being overcome by the rampant disease, the knight challenges Death to a game of chess—during which he may just win a chance at life. Fri, Sat 7:30 p.m.; Sun 5:30 p.m.
