Submitted by Callie Sumlin on Mon, 05/25/2015 - 9:44am

Like a culinary summer camp for adults, Barbecue University gives attendees the chance to become grill masters with in-depth instruction from Primal Grill host and bona fide 'cue expert, Steven Raichlen. Raichlen will lecture on everything from barbecue techniques to preferred woods for smoking, and participants will put their newfound knowledge to work cooking up  delights like Texas Hill Country brisket, bourbon-brined pork chops, and apple pie with smoked ice cream. Bonus: Non-participants can join the lavish closing lunch for an additional fee. Daily, 9 a.m.-noon.
