Virginia Coleman & Matt Jones

Sculptors Matt Jones and Virginia Coleman present artwork embodying the structures that inspire them: nature and the manmade world, respectively. Jones’ ceramic sculptures incorporate the colors, textures, and compositions of stones and other natural formations he’s seen while trekking through the Rocky Mountains on long hikes. Coleman, in contrast, welds pieces of metal together to convey how metal’s strength, bendability, and reflective properties correlate to emotion.
