By Carol W. Maybach

The Greenbriar Inn
8735 N. Foothills Highway, Boulder

The Draw
Romantic ambience in a beautiful country setting, experienced and attentive service, and entrées that do justice to tradition as well as innovation; the food also incorporates some of the best products Colorado has to offer.

The Drawback
Menu items are quite pricey; vegetable seasonings miss the mark.

Don't Miss
Pan-seared, lavender-rubbed Black Buck antelope, Hudson Valley foie gras, pan-fried Yukon gold gnocchi, traditional beef Wellington, bananas Foster.

Vegetarian Options
Homemade gnocchi primavera, house salad, pan-fried Yukon gold gnocchi, Mediterranean spinach pappardelle.
