Maja & Marty | Edjoe Ranch
Maja and Marty officially met at a Harvard/Yale football game out East, but Maja confides she'd noticed Marty before then. "I took one look at him and said, 'Who's going to introduce me to my husband?'" The then Edwards-based couple decided to have their wedding at EdJoe Ranch, Maja's family property outside Telluride, because it had always been her dream to marry there. An unexpected Colorado storm brought rain (and later that night, snow) halfway through the ceremony, causing them to move everything into the tent. "As a result of the electrifying weather (plus the Cadillac margaritas—oh, and the altitude), our guests were on fire," says Maja. "There was dancing and carrying on and this feeling that is hard to describe, but it was definitely a result of the elements."
