Painting The Town
Kim Reasor was painting on Market Street near El Chapultepec one evening when a man who'd had one drink too many came weaving down the sidewalk. From across the street, all he could see was the back of her canvas.
"That's a great painting, lady," he yelled. "Great painting. Great!"
"He kept going on about how great it was," she laughs. "But he never got to the point where he could actually see the thing."
Reasor can appreciate that kind of irony. Although she grew up in Denver, she never saw the city through an artist's eyes until she returned from two years in California
