The Cherry Tomato is, quite simply, one of the most refreshing dining experiences in Denver. And it has one of the best back stories.

One of the owners, whom I worked with in TV, told me how the restaurant evolved from a progressive dinner party hsted by four families in the Park Hill neighborhood. The Nommensens, the Feleses, the Websters, and the McCorts loved gathering to eat and talk once a week. The friends always wanted Tom Felese to cook, because his recipes were knockouts
