Fank DeAngelis looks back at the nation's worst school shootings and prepares for the reopening of Columbine High School.

She said the oddest thing. The first person I spoke to the afternoon of the shootings was Robin Carroccia, a winsome freshman in a blue and gray Columbine gym uniform, nervously recounting how she'd just escaped the building. I struggled to grasp her terror - did she fear for her life? "Not Really," she said. "Because the principal was with us."
