Top of the Town 2001

June 2001

For the fifth year in a row, we bring you the Mile-High City’s coolest stuff. With editors and readers coming together to vote for their favorites, the final tally racks up more than 250 winners. Whether you’re in the market for a martini, a mechanic, or Manolos, don’t drop a dime until you’ve checked out who’s tops. It’s time to discover Denver’s best-kept secrets and revisit some old favorites.

We don't need to tell you that Denver is a great place to live. But sometimes we all need to be reminded what it is that makes our city unique. The personality of Denver isn't just the Broncos, the ChopHouse, or Chipotle. It's also new faces on the scene, such as Ray Bourque, Campo de Fiori, and Edward Dorian. Thumbing through this issue will introduce you to new places, faces, and things but we hope you'l also be reminded of your old favorites.

This year's Top of the Town winners reflect Denver's long-standing roots and its ever-changing landscape. The only constant is a good dose of local flavor.
