Let’s face it. When you think dining, chances are you think LoDo, Cherry Creek, or those big-name steak house chains. But for every Vesta, Campo de Fiori, or Del Frisco’s, there are hoards of neighborhood restaurants that, while sometimes short on polish, are long on atmosphere and food. Once discovered, these independently owned places are the restaurants you’ll visit again and again because they feel like home.

Consider the following suggestions for true neighborhood dining – places that will have you broadening your horizons (and discovering strip malls) all across the metro area. The following restaurants will, hopefully, remind you of some old favorites or encourage you to get out of a rut and into your car to discover an eatery that’s new to you.
