Three-year-old Bicycles for Humanity, a Denver-based nonprofit, extends Colorado's two-wheeled obsession overseas by collecting used bikes to send to Namibia, Africa. Shipping containers—bulging with nearly 400 rides—float to partner organizations. Some bikes are given to mobile health-care workers and school children, while the rest become inventory when the shipping containers are converted to storefronts.
