Panzano chef Elise Wiggins prepares an at-home Italian feast.

COCKTAILS

The Flippin’ Nutty Italian

(Makes 1 cocktail)

  • 1 ounce nocino* (see recipe)
  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • ½ ounce Bénédictine liqueur
  • ¼ ounce simple syrup
  • 1 ounce blood-orange juice
  • (peel reserved for garnish)
  • 1 whole egg

Pour all ingredients together in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain. Garnish with blood-orange peel.
