Need an endorsement to head to Cherry Creek North’s Scented Studio? Less than a year after opening, the shop’s fragrances were chosen for the 2012 Daytime Emmy Awards’ gift bags. Round out your holiday list and pick up one of the boutique’s signature scents (we like Floral Musk, which combines lavender, bergamot, and rosewood)—or create your own. More than 400 fragrant and essential oils can be hand-blended into lotions, body butters, or soy candles for your house.  

For a more hands-on experience, sign up for a Scented Journey workshop ($55–$75 per person), where aspiring noses can learn about various scents, blend their own fragrances, and personalize them with names of their choosing. Take the class solo, as a couple (design a scent for each other), or in a group (think birthday or bachelorette parties). Channel your inner celeb—it’s your turn to be the face of a fragrance.
