Thanks to Eat St., a new book that captures the zeitgeist of the food truck industry, you can whip up some of the best street food from around the country—including the Mile High City—in your kitchen. Due out this month, Eat St. (Pintail Books) showcases more than 125 recipes. Selections are part of the Cooking Channel’s popular television show of the same name, in which host James Cunningham canvasses the country in search of irresistible street dishes. The book catalogs a few Denver selections, including the Biscuit Bus’ Ellsworth sandwich with fried chicken, mustard, honey, and pickles on a flaky biscuit. Also look for the Inventing Room’s refreshing apple pie “Kool-Aid” and Sugar Lips’ mini doughnuts with bacon, cream cheese frosting, and jalapeño jam.
